Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / Re: WTB Passiflora Antioquensis

Your search is a wise one. Earlier this year my fruiting vine bit the climate and folded. It was my favorite. The flavor of the fruit, the vibe of the flowers, the speed at which the vine grew...just pure loveliness. I haven't been able to source another but I may have some little plants doing there thing right now. Come next year, God willing, they will be shareable. Great fortune in your searches 💚

The other day that Ricky Valenz song, "Oh Donna" came on and I couldn't help but replace the lyrics with, "O-hana". Wondering, who out there without a greedy spirit is willing to share.

I really thought it would be possible to bring mangoes from Florida and distribute them in Cali but they are just too delicious. Money is not worth it. I have a few here and there to spare but I apologize for this over the top post. Got carried away when I finally got plugged in.

No more pipe dreams, no more watching someone slicing into what's described as ice cream, no more internet enticing mango parties with no inviting :(, no more supplier bribing to smuggle mangoes on the flight please!,

PM me.

Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / FRESH Zill Mangoes in Cali

I've done the whole close your eyes and visualize the mango in your mouth, even adding a nagging child in my imagination scheme hounding me for a slice of the magnificence. Without mobbing to Florida, without waiting for trees to produce, just boom bomb mangoes in my face devoured with pent up desire . Some of my Cali folk feel the woes but today all that is over! There is a plug who ships the mangoes to us misfits! The grocery store told us, "No! Only Tommy Atkins and boiled chlorine mango for Cali!". Sweet redemption is upon us forgotten ones. Fly mangoes are on the way.

Go with a passiflora incarnata. Fruit is tastier, flowers are prettier, grows epic in our area and it pops back up year after year. Plus they don't sell them in stores or markets from what I've seen. ALSO the leaves are highly medicinal. Fredericko, I can't say the same about. Maypop or P. Decaisneana. Ricardos nursery in Long Beach has a grip of P. Decaisneana, Ligularis, Molissima and Frederick's, all mature ready to fruit this or next year. Best of luck

Wow, how cool! I didn't know that. How would you describe incarnata? I just looked it up, and is it the same as maypop? How would you describe the taste compared to edulis Frederick?

It has a pineapple without the acid, banana without the overshadowing lingering flavor, slight cherimoya tropical note that smooths everything together with a slight tang. They have to be perfectly ripe wrinkled lowkey yellowish on the ground. Not Joan Rivers wrinkled but more like Clint Eastwood. My description is weak, they are bomb out of hand. P. Decaisneana tasted like honey lychee to me, no lie. Blew my mind. The taste it left in my mouth was like making out with a Greek flower goddess. Lovely.

Mine are growing hella slow and keeps flowering with no fruit grr.
Anywho, the leaves are extremely good for diabetes and overall health, the fruit contains the highest amount of Calcium than any fruit known, from what I've read. Create a superfood product and sell it on Etsy. I'd buy it

Tropical Fruit Buy, Sell & Trade / Re: Fly Mangoes To Cali

I just recieved some trees from him today. He's the new plug. Healthy trees. He doesn't ship fresh mangoes though. I'm looking for the ripe fresh fruit of the trees I have to patiently wait for. I've been baited by YouTube videos exposing my imagination to new flavors. I'm just out here in Cali tired of Tommy, boiled Aphonso and defrosted Kents.

Hey, any fine Souls know of somewhere I can order varieties of Zill mangoes that ship to Cali? Someone out there willing to risk it all? Some darkweb site I have to crypto currency to? Maybe send some used little kids socks or a lock of hair with a vile of virgin blood? Help me! What must I do?! Thanks

Hey I've been searching and searching for a live true Damiana plant through the internet jungles and no avail. Just the knock off version of it. It's almost like someone doesn't want the plant for the masses. Pharmaceutical companies using the compounds in their junk? No clue but I need some help please. If anyone out there has access to a rooted cutting or seedlings please hit me up. Thank you!

Tropical Fruit Discussion / Top Tropicals Inconsistencies

So I just recieved an M4 Mango tree from Top Tropicals which I have been waiting for them to restock. I ordered from them before and all the trees were an excellent size and condition compared to Plantogram which has been great too, except for the scraggle Achacha they sent me. Anyways, this M4 mango tree was some straight BS. If I were David and the Gnomes I'd be stoked but this gust of wind twig snap graft was not what I expected. Perhaps my previous orders were anomalies or this one might be, dunno. I'm hoping some of you with experience ordering from them can tell me it's a fluke and typically a one foot tree being sent is a mistake. Am I buggin?

Ricardos nursery in Long Beach is a good one too.

« on: January 14, 2020, 02:06:11 AM »
Hello, I am looking for some cuttings taken from a fruiting vine of passiflora ligularis and laurifolia. If someone out there has access to such an established vine please pm me. Matter fact, if you're a passionfruit lover and collector like I, and would like to swap vines in the So.Cal area, pm as well too please. Thank you

It would be super Lovely to be directed to a place where I could get some established (15 gal) Mango varieties in SoCal. I have reached out to the typical exotic nurseries in my area already(Champa, Mimosa) with no success on these kind. Sweet Tart, Orange Sherb, Lemon Zest, Peach Cobbler. Basically the fly kind teasing folk all across the youtube fruit kingdom. If you know of a nursery or person with any of these please PM me or reply. The obsession is eating me. Need....all....the....bomb....mangoes.  Thank you
