Ant all very nice, was it cebu rather than luzon where you took most photos. The lanzones don't look like paete to me or even langsat.I think they are longkong.I know longkong has been replacing lanzone. The sugar apples seem small, did you see big ones or other types and is one annona pictured a custard apple?

Great looking jackfruit Ant and sweet crunchy orange will always beat yellow sloppy. The yellow one looks like an unusual type in the way it fruits.Santol Bangkok is the most common type here and I don't know why they would name a santol after a terrible accident.

Thank you for sharing! Always amazing to see fruiting trees in other parts of the world. Any photos of the red sweet jackfruit cut open? How did the wax jambus taste? They are on my list to grow, i love how profusely they fruit!

Ant you keep coming up with great tropical fruit pictures like Bocah.Sweet tamarinds are a special fruit much different and way better than the normal ones.I am hoping to be brought some sweet tamarind seeds back from Thailand next week. The bonsai sweet tamarind and bouganvillea are eye popping plants alright.

Not sure that the sweet tamarind seeds will produce sweet tamarind pods? You might need to get a grafted tree.

Fruitlovers my partners' father grew them in Kemmerat from seedling lines and they were true. There are fakes around but the genuine ones are just in a small part of thailand and plantations are generally of seedlings.I chatted to a farmer in Sisaket wo had me baffled by all the types but raved about the real sweets. They are almost like candy.

Yeah, i've had the sweet tamarinds in Thailand--very TASTY! Have some grafted trees planted here. There are a few different cultivars. I also have seeds of sweet types of tamarind s to mail to anyone interested?
