Green-Red Florida Sugar Apple?
« on: September 20, 2015, 05:51:36 PM »
Here's a unusually colored Sugar Apple (A.squamosa) that I just picked. It's definitely a green variety but has reddish coloring along the carpels. This seedling tree had just one fruit this year so I am not sure if they all will be like this one.
Just a cool looking fruit

Congrats, looks like a very nice cross Green x Red, Noel. Please post pix of cut open fruit when the time comes.
