I'm a member.
Never been to the meetings but I go to the classes when interested in the material.
It was nice to gets hands-on training with grafting as a newbie.
The plant repository thing is invaluable.
I pick up scions from the older varieties from here.
There are also really experienced people who run the show and though they may not be on the forum they have a wealth of information on various fruit trees.

I am a new member, been to 3 meetings. For $25. a year it is well worth it. (maybe just for the snack table alone). Seed Exchange seems to be an interesting concept, fruits/vegetables.
