I have 3 Shangri-la trees in my front yard with a considerable number of green fruit on them.
Hopefully the birds will leave them alone.

I don't seem to have much problems with birds on the red/dark colored mulberry. But they seem to always knock/pick off the white pakistan fruits before they are ripe so I end up with half of them when fully ripe.

Seems like it would be just the opposite.... good to hear.

Yeah, that's what I thought but it might be due to the big white pakistan tree is in my backyard with all of my citrus, loquat, persimmon, mulberry trees in close spacing (very close). The red/black/shangri la mulberry trees are in my front and not as close together.

Can these be rooted easily?

Rooting any cuttings isn't easy, you need to keep an eye on them weekly. But yes I find the following are easy to root from cutting (50-75% success rate):

1. Black Pakistan
2. Shangri La
3. Thai Dwarf

The Red Himalayan cuttings are much harder to root (10-25%) success.
The White Pakistan/Shahtoot, very difficult to root, I haven't been able to get any to root in a pot outside.

Received my cuttings today - in excellent condition and fast shipping. I had ordered Pakistani White only but was sent white as well black Pakistani mulberry scions.  Thank you for all the extra scions!

Nice to encounter a scion wood seller with integrity who accurately describes the items he sells and actually sends the sizes agreed upon with many generous extras thrown in for good measure. Package arrived quickly, definitely a stark contrast to some of my other recent orders.  Unfortunately this level of service represents the exception when it should be the rule. Thanks again for a great customer experience

This wasn't my only experience with Kaz. I had previously purchased Persimmon scions from him which were good sized, well packed, reasonably priced and shipped quickly. Those grafts are already pushing!
