Of those bananas, which would you say is the most cold hardy? I'm in 8a, but we rarely see temperatures below about 21 degrees.

I would say dwarf namwah. Theyre small, so they have more microclimate options. The key for the cold is to give the bananas as much time to establish their corm before the cold, preferably at the start of spring. As the cold approaches, you can pile up mulch around your bananas to help keep them warm. At least that's my experience.
