ID this solanum fruit???

A friend of mine found these growing wild. Says its more like a vine than a bush. Has thorns too. Anyone have an idea of what these are?<br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br /><br />
Trying to grow it all!

Looks like that for sure but doesn't have spines on the leaf and not as numerous spines in general. Sure there are different morphological characteristics on some specimens. Most soda apples are like a little bush though I've seen similar solanum more like a vine too.

...if it's growing wild in FL, probably something else.
