Citrus leaves looking weird. What is it?
« on: October 02, 2022, 02:57:24 PM »
Our Marumi kumquat, Owari 874 mandarin, Succari orange, and Meyer lemon leaves are all looking poorly (pics in order listed).  We know it's likely insect and/or nutrient issues.  We're in 8b (southern Georgia), attempted to improve the clay soil with garden soil & sand when planted this spring, fertilize with citrus spikes, and they get full sun all day. Can anyone ID what our issue(s) are please? Thanks!

Looks dried out or cold damage.

I agree, looks under watered by quite a bit.

Picture 3 looks a lot like citrus leaf miner.

Yes, after zooming in no. 3 picture twice, I can see the "tunnel" on the leaf
that Leaf miners typically do. Lots of discussion on this on this forum...good luck!

Thank y'all so very much!  We'll increase the water and treat for miners.  Thanks again!
