that fruit doesn't match the description of M. trunciflora...actually reminds me of M. grandifolia.

Believe me I dont need to. I am collecting tropical fruits for about 20 years and  I collected the fruits from my tree, and I am 100000000000% sure it is M. trunciflora LOL  May be you need to change the description you are using

Fruit Looks a bit different than my trunciflora

I know there are many varieties, I wonder which one this is?

Also the trunciflora that is fruiting in FL doesn't fruit more than 2 times a year.

i'm wondering what the leaves look like....(is new growth fuzzy?)

(M. grandifolia can have pendulous fruits as well...and looks much like your pics...but yours seem to have longer pedicels)

whatever you have seems rare ....Im guessing a harder to find variety of M. trunciflora....
