Fairchild #2 Canistel Inverted root graft

Adam grafted this Fairchild #2 canistel with the dwarfing inverted root graft in may.It is now flowering. I will pick the flowers off,to small to hold fruit.

my inverted Ross flowered, but they seemed to fall off.

I gotta get an inverted fairchild 2 soon!

hey Mike,

Hows your fairchild 2 doing?

Did you bury the graft union? or can you see the graft?

I'm starting to think it's smart to bury the graft union...but I like to leave them exposed so I can look at them, and watch them change as the trees grow.

Also, looks like your Frchld2 is growing much faster than any of my inverted ross sapotes!

It is in the greenhouse nice and warm. We can graft another one for you .I have the budwood and rootstock. I left the flower on to see if it would fall off.If it fruits I will take it off. And I don"t bury the graft union.
