--- Quote from: Lumi-Ukko on March 27, 2025, 10:54:10 AM ---I got some seeds from an Etsy seller in USA some time back, receiving about 7 seeds, already sprouting. I kept them in a baggy with wet paper towel, changing out the paper every couple of days. I had success in that 6 continued to germinate. After putting them in some seed starting mix, I lost one, but 5 grew and are now a good 3 feet tall. I don't have problems with heat where I am, but humidity can get a bit low in Spring and I did not use any humidity dome on the transplanted seeds.
I can look up the Etsy seller and see if they still sell seeds if you wish.

Thank you. Please share the name of the seller.

This is from the same seller:

They also have the Gula Pasir variety as well.

Thank you Lumi-Ukko! Funny enough I came across this seller's Gula Pasir listing earlier today and was wondering if they were a good seller or not.

I can't speak to this seller's long-term reliability or quality of course, or how they source their seed, but the seeds I got from them were viable and were actively germinating when I received them and I had success in growing 5 palms out of about 7 seeds (ordered 6, received 7). They seem to only have 15 seed orders for Zalacca now). YMMV.
