Hasya has not been productive for me in SoCal. 

Potting mix with sand makes it nice & loamy.  Only drawback being sand is quite heavy

Looks like the left branch is a graft union.  Check to see if there's a V-indentation.  You can also post up close pics

It'll flower within a year from sprouting in-ground.  They are vigorous growers

I have compost piles & a DIY worm compost bin.  Additions which I grow/acquired-

moringa, banana leaves/pseudostem, longevity spinach, general tree leaves, fruit scraps, kombucha scobies, insect frass I acquired for free from rainbowmealworms.net in Compton, CA

For purchased food, I add-

coffee grounds, organic tea bags

The only outside input I buy for my plants is kelp meal.

I feel this provides just about everything

I originally purchase Sunrise & Waimanalo seeds from the University of Hawaii at Manoa Seed Bank.  They are mainly hermaphrodite.  Sunrise, aka strawberry papaya, is very sweet with no musk smell.  I highly recommend it

Yes, it will.  They bear fruit a lot smaller than that

 California Keitt mangoes are grown commercially in the Coachella Valley.  Keitt are great late season mangoes, but prone to disease
