Folks.. Its that time of the year again when we decide if we continue to run advertising free..

Donors can send funds to the paypal email below.  Once our goal is reached, we will delete the payment infomation.  This fundraiser is usually over in one day, so if you would like to donate and be added to the annual fundraiser list take advantage of the opportunity to do so today!

Folks it's that time of year again.  It was another good year as far as issues go, no real hidden expenses to worry about.  As always, we are a non-proifit organization that relies on this once a year fundraiser to cover the costs of domain and webhosting.  We will likely run the fundraiser this Friday, and a PayPal email address will be provided to send donations to.  The fundraiser is usually over pretty quickly, as we only collect enough to cover our costs.  Donating members will be added to the annual donors list that is stickied on the forums.

After 11 years our forum is finally running on a secure platform! Our SSL Cert went into effect this morning without issue! This will allow additional members that were limited by our lack of SSL to join!

Happy Holidays! It's that time of year again when we ask the members here to chip in what they can to keep us a member run private forum.  We have been up and running nine years now with the support of our members, and hope to keep it that way for years to come! I paid for the hosting of the website today at a total of $180.22 (receipt attached).  We had an incident mid year that required us to move to another hosting platform that cost about $100 to do, however the result lowered the annual cost for now!

If you have the ability to please support our forum! We can accept Paypal donations sent to ***Fundraiser Completed for 2021!***, that's me.  We are not looking to profit from the site, so please post what you contribute here so that others can see how much we are raising!

And thank you all of course for you continued involvement and support of the tropical fruit forum, we hope it benefits the tropical fruit collecting world!!

It was brought to my attention that people were having issues adding photos to posts.  I have added an additional feature to the forum in the form of a blue "p" at the bottom of the text field when posting.  This should work if the old green "add image to post" doesn't!

It's that time of year again.. I just paid for the upcoming year's internet services required to keep the forum Ad and cost free to all our members. I once again am asking for donations only to cover the cost of the actual charges to run the site..  If you donate please be sure to make it known in a post below so others know how much is being collected.  I have attached the receipt for the total paid bill for reference. Thank you on behalf of all our member's in advance to any of those who choose to support the forum this year!

UPDATED : In order to go to a secure website I had to upgrade our Hosting to Deluxe Hosting with cPanel.  We were charged a one time migration fee of $99.99 in addition to the Deluxe Hosting.  Please send any small donation you can, for now this is all out of pocket for me. In the next few days our site will be migrated over to a secure platform and will eventually have the "secure" lock to the right of the url in your browsers search bar.  This will allow us to appear in Google searches again and secure our site in general.

Its that time of year again folks.. Our web host costs for another year of advertising free tropical fruit discussion.   The admins of this site hope that we can continue to provide this service and not sell out to the corporate machines that fund most sites.  I have attached the screen shot of what it will take to keep us going.. If we dont get it paid by the 25th of December we lose the site..

The total needed to raise for this calendar year is $177.39.



Once you send a payment post the amount you have donated if you wish to this post and once we reach the goal I will use the money to pay the web host immediately.  I will also post a screen shot of the payment made..
