Hello everyone! 👋🌱

I’m happy to share a new seed release featuring a mix of rare and interesting fruit species from Argentina and Brazil. Many of these come from northeastern Argentina (Misiones region) and nearby areas of southern Brazil, plus a few selections from my own garden.

Several of these species are still very uncommon in cultivation outside South America, and some of the Myrtaceae seeds (Plinia, Eugenia, Campomanesia) are already sprouting, which greatly improves germination success.

Seeds are shipped from our USA distribution point for fast and reliable delivery.

🌱 Germination Tips

Many tropical fruit seeds are recalcitrant, meaning they germinate best when fresh and planted immediately.

General recommendations:

• Use a well-drained mix (peat + perlite works great)
• Keep warm: 24–30°C (75–86°F)
• Maintain constant humidity without waterlogging
• Plant sprouted seeds with the radicle pointing downward

Botanical Description:

Myrcia selloi is a semi-deciduous shrub or small tree, typically reaching heights between 2.5 to 5 meters. It features a dense, upright crown with a straight, cylindrical trunk measuring 20–30 cm in diameter. The leaves are coriaceous or chartaceous, elliptic to oblong, measuring 1.5–5.5 cm in length and 0.8–3 cm in width, with conspicuous reticulate venation on both surfaces. The plant produces fragrant flowers arranged in panicles up to 5 cm long, each bearing 4–15 pedicellate flowers. The fruits are globose, turning a reddish-orange upon ripening, with a diameter of approximately 5 to 7 mm.

Cultivation and Growth Conditions:

Native to regions including Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, southern Brazil, and Bolivia, Myrcia selloi thrives in semi-deciduous forests and Araucaria pine forests, favoring moist, shaded environments. It prefers dappled shade and is considered slow-growing. Propagation is typically achieved through seeds, which are best sown as soon as they are ripe in partially shaded nursery beds or individual containers. Germination can be slow, often taking 30–50 days, and the germination rate may be low.

Uses and Applications:

The sweet, dark reddish-orange fruits of Myrcia selloi are edible and can be consumed raw. Beyond its culinary appeal, the tree is valued for its ornamental qualities, particularly its decorative bark, making it suitable for landscaping and as a street tree under power lines. The wood is compact, moderately heavy, very elastic, and durable, making it useful for poles, tool handles, rafters, and as fuel.

We’re currently harvesting a beautiful and rare species: **Black ñangapiré (Eugenia repanda)** — a dark-fruited Eugenia with incredible ornamental and culinary value.

The fruits ripen to a deep purple-black, almost glossy when fully mature. Flavor-wise, think cherry with a subtle grape tone — aromatic, sweet-tart, and excellent fresh. They also make outstanding jams, jellies and desserts.

The tree itself is compact (great for small orchards and edible landscaping), with dense foliage and elegant white flowers. A very attractive and productive species overall 🌱✨

We’ve opened two commercial pre-sale options:

• **300-seed pack — USD 300** (regular price USD 870)
Estimated shipping to final destination: mid-March to April

• **50-seed pack — USD 70** (regular price USD 145)
Estimated shipping: mid-March to April

Both are live in our store (pre-sale listings):

300-seed pack:
[https://www.huertasurbanas.com/product/march-pre-sale-black-nangapire-eugenia-repanda-300-seeds-pack/](https://www.huertasurbanas.com/product/march-pre-sale-black-nangapire-eugenia-repanda-300-seeds-pack/)

50-seed pack:
[https://www.huertasurbanas.com/product/march-pre-sale-black-nangapire-eugenia-repanda-50-seeds-pack-copy/](https://www.huertasurbanas.com/product/march-pre-sale-black-nangapire-eugenia-repanda-50-seeds-pack-copy/)

⚠️ Important operational note:
These trees produce dozens to hundreds of fruits per mature plant, which means seed extraction and cleaning is **very labour-intensive**.

For bulk orders, I need to know in advance how many seeds should be fully cleaned before the consolidated shipment to my partner. This helps me plan the work properly and avoid delays.

Trial growers can start with the 50-seed option and scale up later.

This is a limited harvest window, and I’m processing fruit right now — so quantities will be organized according to confirmed interest.

Cheers 🌿

Now available at www.huertasurbanas.com/shop — along with other incredible rare species.

Guavirá Johvy is a rare and exciting Campomanesia with truly outstanding flavor. The fruit has an intensely aromatic profile and a super sweet, exquisite pulp that makes it a real surprise even for experienced rare fruit collectors.

This is not a generic guava-type experience — the sweetness and fragrance give it a unique identity among Myrtaceae, and it’s a species that quickly becomes a favorite once tasted.

🍈 Flavor notes

Extremely sweet pulp (like a mix of apples/jaboticaba/maracuyá)

Strong aromatic character

Delicious fresh, with a clean and rich taste

⚠️ Important when eating:
✔️ Eat the pulp only.
❌ Do not chew the seeds — they can be spicy/unpleasant.
❌ The skin may be acidic, so it’s best discarded.

🌱 Why growers love it

Rare species in cultivation

Highly desirable for collectors of Myrtaceae and South American native fruits

Excellent addition for anyone exploring unique sweet native fruits.

https://www.huertasurbanas.com/product/pre-sale-rainforest-plum-eugenia-candolleana-very-tasty/

Why growers love it

In short: maybe this is the best tasting Eugenia.

Glossy purple-black berries with real dessert appeal: sweet, juicy, gently tangy, with a soft “plum/grape” vibe. Great fresh and excellent for jams, sorbets, and fruit bowls.

Please note this is a Pre-sale item that will be delivered by March 2026
, so if you need more species along with E. candolleana in the same order/shipping, please choose dry seeds, not wet ones as for instance Plinias or Myrciarias, because they will be too sprouted by mid-March. This is important mostly for non-USA buyers.

Botanical notes (kept simple)

Genus: Eugenia — evergreen, opposite leaves, white axillary flowers (4 petals, many stamens), berry with a persistent calyx.

Species: E. candolleana (Rainforest Plum), native to the Atlantic rainforest of Brazil. Fruits ~2–3 cm, turning deep purple-black when ripe.

Pollination: Self-fertile; a single plant can set fruit.

Flavor & uses

Sweet first bite with mild acidity and a clean, aromatic finish. Eat out of hand, or turn into preserves and desserts.

Growing (easy, with one cold-weather caveat)

Climate: Thrives tropical/subtropical. Brief dips near –2 °C can defoliate; around –3 °C damage is likely—cover or move containers under protection.

Light: Full sun to bright part shade.

Soil & water: Moist, well-drained, slightly acidic to neutral mix; steady moisture in warm months.

Size & habit: Naturally a small tree/shrub (≈4–7 m in ground); stays compact and very prunable in large containers (≈1–2 m maintained).

Bearing: Flowers and fruits young under good culture; multiple flushes possible in warm climates.

Seed handling & sowing

Recalcitrant: Do not let seeds dry. Plant as soon as you receive them.

How to sow: 5–10 mm deep in an airy, fine mix. Keep warm and evenly moist.

Germination: Typically 4–8 weeks when fresh; seedlings start slow, then accelerate.

Taste report: https://youtu.be/W8bgpOFLQC8

Brix: 19º (very sweet)

New Item: https://www.huertasurbanas.com/product/melicoccus-aff-lepidopetalus-ultra-rare-coquito-de-san-juan-single-seed-pre-sale/

Flavor Profile / Tasting Notes

Melicoccus lepidopetalus is a very little-known fruit, even within its own genus. Its flavor is distinctively sweet, with clear notes of vanilla and light caramel, often reminiscent of cotton candy, accompanied by a unique, personal fruity perfume that is difficult to compare to common fruits.

The pulp is extremely sweet, dense, and somewhat sticky, adhering both to the seed and to the teeth. When peeled, the skin separates easily, in a way similar to its Asian relatives longan and lychee. However, the flavor is not grape-like, nor does it closely resemble widely known fruits. A faint grape-like nuance may be perceived, but it does not define the overall profile.

Rather than evoking familiar fruits, its aromatic character closely approaches that of Chamba (Campomanesia lineatifolia), sharing a deep sweetness and a strong sense of individuality that makes this fruit truly distinctive.

Because the pulp clings tightly to the seed, the most natural way to enjoy it is by gently sucking the pulp rather than chewing, although its rich sweetness often invites chewing.

Overall, Melicoccus lepidopetalus offers a highly unusual and rewarding sensory experience, especially appealing to collectors and growers seeking flavors well outside the mainstream.

You are looking at something genuinely rare: a single fresh seed from a South American coquito tree with a flavor local people truly value. These seeds come from ripe fruits collected by a trusted forager in Misiones, Argentina — from a large, mature tree long appreciated by locals for its outstanding fruits.

Full product description

Family: Sapindaceae
Label: Melicoccus aff. lepidopetalus (Coquito de San Juan) — not Melicoccus bijugatus

This is not the common Caribbean Spanish lime (Melicoccus bijugatus). The fruits are different in skin color, pulp texture and — importantly — in flavor. M. bijugatus is a familiar market species; this material represents a distinct South American form that does not currently circulate on international seed markets.

Why this is special

Ultra-rare availability. There are no active seed sellers outside Argentina for this taxon right now; international listings are effectively absent.

Provenance. Seeds are traceable to a specific, photographed adult tree in Misiones. We include provenance photos with each sale.

Unique palate. Locals describe the fruit as intensely tropical — mango + pineapple notes, very sweet and aromatic. This isn’t just “different”; it’s delicious.

Collector value. Ideal for collectors, botanical gardens, and growers who want something genuinely uncommon.

Fruit & seed notes (what to expect)

Fruit size: 3 to 4 cm diameter.

Skin: pale yellow/cream when ripe (can appear different in indoor photos).

Pulp: translucent/creamy, gelatinous, very strongly attached to the seed (you’ll need to suck/chomp — it does not separate cleanly).

Seed: single seed per fruit, sold individually.

Flavor: intensely tropical, sweet, often described as a blend of mango and pineapple.

Seed details & growing basics

Item: Single fresh seed (sold individually).

Viability: Fresh seeds — best sown promptly.

Germination: Sow fresh, keep warm (24–30 °C), maintain steady moisture. Expect germination often within 2–4 weeks under good conditions.

Time to fruit: Long from seed — typically several years (often 8–12+ years). Vegetative propagation yields fruit sooner.

Zones: Best for warm/subtropical climates (USDA ~9–11) or greenhouse growers.

How we sell (pre-sale)

This is a PRE-SALE. Seeds are limited and will be allocated in strict order of purchase.

Expected shipping: February 10

Single-seed sales only. We are testing customer interest and reaction; this is a limited opportunity.

Price & stock (suggested)

Stock: Extremely limited — orders accepted while stock lasts.

Pre-sale dispatch: seeds will be shipped in Feb. to the address supplied at checkout.

Guarantee & returns

Seeds are biological products; germination depends on many factors (growing conditions, care, climate). For single-seed sales we offer replacement credit only if the seed is visibly damaged in transit (photo evidence required within 48 hours).

Short FAQ (for product page)

Q: Is this the common Spanish lime (quenepa)?
A: No. This is not Melicoccus bijugatus. This is the South American form — Melicoccus aff. lepidopetalus — and it behaves and tastes differently.

Q: How many seeds will you have?
A: Very limited. We may be able to offer up to ~100 seeds in February if the harvest and processing go well, and more later by March/April. Quantities are not guaranteed.

Q: Can you ship internationally?
A: Yes, but some international buyers will need a phytosanitary certificate and may face import restrictions. We can manage paperwork for an additional fee.

Seller note

I know this uncertainty is part of the thrill — and the frustration. I’ve worked hard to trace these fruits to a mature tree in Misiones and to document them for buyers. If you’re a collector, grower or garden that values rare, well-documented material, this is the chance to try something truly uncommon and delicious.

Taxonomic note: Melicoccus aff. lepidopetalus

Reproductive biology & purchase configuration

This species is dioecious, meaning male and female flowers occur on separate trees. Because of this, planting a single seedling does not guarantee future fruit production. To realistically increase the chance of obtaining both sexes and achieving pollination, multiple seedlings are required.

➡️ Purchase configuration:

Minimum quantity: 3 seeds

Sold in groups of: 1 seed

Maximum per order: 9 seeds

This configuration is intentional and designed to give growers a genuine chance of success, considering the rarity of this species and the long juvenile period typical of Melicoccus.

https://www.huertasurbanas.com/product/guavira-johvy-pre-sale-campomanesia-aff-malifolia-ultra-rare/

🍏 Discover Campomanesia neriiflora — a rare and aromatic fruit tree from the Myrtaceae family, commonly known as the white guabiroba or Guavirá Johvy. Native to the Atlantic Forest region and found in pockets of northeastern Argentina, this compact tree produces fragrant, globose fruits prized by collectors and small-scale growers. Its unique flavor and attractive white flowers make it a lovely addition to subtropical gardens and specialty orchards.

A short note on identification
These seeds were previously listed as Campomanesia aff. malifolia. After photographic review and careful comparison, we now identify them as Campomanesia neriiflora. Immature fruits are characteristically greenish-blue, maturing to a yellow-orange color when ripe. If you need formal verification for commercial labeling, consider retaining herbarium vouchers or consulting a local taxonomist.

Flavor & eating notes (personal tasting)
When fully ripe, the pulp is exquisite and aromatic — reminiscent of baked apples: warm, sweet (15º Brix), and very pleasant.

Important eating warning: Do not eat the skin: the thin skin is often bitter and strongly astringent and is commonly discarded.
Avoid chewing the seeds: seeds from Campomanesia species can be bitter or spicy and are unpleasant to taste. Serve and process the pulp, discarding skin and seeds.

🍏 Plant details

Family: Myrtaceae

Form: Small tree / large shrub, typically 3–8 m tall

Leaves: Simple, alternate, glossy, entire margins

Flowers: White and showy, with numerous stamens, appearing in clusters

Fruits: Small to medium, globose; greenish-blue when immature, turning yellow-orange at full ripeness

🌳 Cultivation & care (quick guide)

Climate: Subtropical to warm-temperate; frost-sensitive.

Soil: Well-drained, fertile; avoid waterlogged sites.

Light: Full sun to partial shade (young plants appreciate some protection).

Water: Keep evenly moist but do not allow root waterlogging.

Growth & fruiting: Moderate growth; plants typically begin fruiting after a few years under good conditions.

🌿 Seed germination & propagation (practical steps)

Propagation method: By seed — best results with fresh seeds; viability declines with long storage.

Seed preparation: Light scarification can speed germination for some seeds.

Medium: Well-draining mix (example: 70% peat / 30% perlite or similar).

Sowing depth: Approximately 1 cm.

Temperature & humidity: Maintain warm conditions (≈25–28 °C) and high humidity; keep substrate consistently moist without waterlogging.

Germination time: Typically 4–8 weeks, though variability occurs; some seeds may take longer — patience helps.

🌿 Pre-Sale & shipping
These seeds are available for pre-order now and are scheduled to ship in early February 2026. Place your pre-order to secure a batch from this correctly identified collection.

Why add Campomanesia neriiflora to your collection?

Rare, aromatic fruit with excellent culinary potential.

Attractive white flowers and compact growth habit.

Distinctive immature greenish-blue fruit color.

A unique tasting experience — pulp reminiscent of baked apples at peak ripeness.

NOTE: these Garcinia sp. seeds are very difficult to find!

Introducing Pacurí: The Indigenous Fruit, "Beso de Miel"

Customer feedback

“I want to say that I got near a hundred percent germination with the Pacurí. You can quote me if it helps the next time you list these.”
— Zach George, CRISP Farms (New Orleans, USA)

Origin & Distribution

Argentina – Misiones

IGU (Iguazú)

SIG (Selva Interior Guaranítica)

Altitude: 0–500 m

Native to the Atlantic Forest region of northeastern Argentina, this species has a restricted natural distribution and is rarely encountered in cultivation.

Taxonomic Notes & Identification

This material has been identified as Garcinia guacopary (S. Moore) M. Nee by a renowned Argentine botanical expert.

Garcinia guacopary is often confused with Garcinia brasiliensis, but differs notably by:

More ovoid to oblong fruits

Generally larger fruit size

More restricted geographic range

These differences are consistent and well recognized in regional botany.

Seed Behavior & Special Notes

Seeds germinate very quickly

In some cases, seeds may arrive already sprouting

Due to their recalcitrant nature, seeds do not store well and should be planted immediately upon arrival

Pacurí has also shown potential as a rootstock for Achachairú (Garcinia humilis), making it of interest to collectors and breeders.

Harvest Indicator

⚠️ Important: Fruits must be harvested when fully orange.
Yellow fruits are immature and should be left on the tree longer.

Botanical Characteristics

Pacurí is a highly adaptable species with variable growth habits:

Shrub form (2–4 m) in open, sunny conditions

Tree form (6–20 m) under forest or partial shade

Dense, rounded canopy in full sun

Trunk exudes abundant yellow latex when wounded

Leaves are lanceolate to oblong, with short petioles

Flowers appear solitary or in small clusters

Fruits are berry-like, rounded to oblong, with smooth skin

Cultivation & Climate

Garcinia guacopary thrives in tropical to subtropical climates, showing greater adaptability than many other Garcinia species.

Optimal temperature: 20–30 °C

Tolerates mild cool periods once established

Does not tolerate hard frost

Performs best with regular rainfall or irrigation

Soil Preferences

Well-drained, fertile soils rich in organic matter

Adaptable to sandy, loamy, or light clay soils

Avoid permanently waterlogged conditions

Planting & Maintenance

Spacing: 5 × 5 m

Prepare planting holes 2–3 months in advance

Amend with compost, bone meal, and wood ash

Mulch with ~10 cm of dry grass to retain moisture

Light winter pruning for structure and sanitation

Organic fertilization in late autumn supports vigor and fruiting

Uses

Fruiting occurs from October to December.
When fully ripe (deep orange), the fruit is pleasantly sweet with mild acidity, becoming noticeably more enjoyable than when harvested early. Immature yellow fruits are bland and should be left on the tree until full coloration develops.

Traditionally, the fruit may also be consumed fresh with sugar, especially when slightly underripe.

Beyond its edible value, Pacurí is:

An excellent ornamental tree

Suitable for orchards, agroforestry, and reforestation

A meaningful native species for biodiversity conservation

Conclusion

Pacurí (Garcinia guacopary) is far more than a fruit tree:
it represents cultural heritage, ecological importance, and botanical rarity.

A truly special species for collectors, growers, and conservation-minded gardeners.

https://www.huertasurbanas.com/product/jaboticaba-eldorado-native-sweet-variety-pre-order/

This is a pre-sale Item, we will start to deliver it by Dec 10/2025

Jaboticaba Eldorado, a remarkable new find from the lush, tropical region of Eldorado, Misiones. This variety is a true delight for Jaboticaba enthusiasts and collectors, offering unique traits that make it an excellent addition to any tropical fruit collection.

Key Features:
Small Leaf Variety: This Jaboticaba features distinct small leaves, similar to the Sabará type, but with subtle differences that make it unique. The compact foliage and fine texture give it a beautiful, dense appearance, perfect for both ornamental and productive purposes.

Exceptional Sweetness: The fruit flavor is sweet and juicy, with a rich, honey-like taste that surpasses most common Jaboticaba varieties. If you love sweet tropical fruits, this is a must-try!
This season, most Jaboticabas in Misiones were affected by a yellow fungal infection, but Jaboticaba Eldorado showed remarkable resistance, managing to produce fruits despite the outbreak.

Genetic Proximity to Sabará: Genetically related to the well-known Sabará Jaboticaba, the Eldorado variety offers the same beloved characteristics but with its own twist. It shares the compact growth habit and early fruiting but stands out with its enhanced sweetness and unique leaf structure.
Highly Productive: The Eldorado variety is known for its generous fruiting, producing abundant clusters of dark, glossy fruits directly on the trunk and branches. This makes harvesting easy and ensures a plentiful yield.
Origin: Discovered in the fertile soils of Eldorado, Misiones, a region known for its diverse and rich flora. This variety has thrived in the unique climate of Misiones, developing a strong flavor profile and robust growth habit.
Additional Information:
Germination Rate: High (80-90%)
Growth Habit: Compact, bushy growth; suitable for both containers and ground planting
Taste Profile: sweet, similar to grapes mixed with red fruits
Care Instructions: Thrives in well-drained, acidic soils with full sun to partial shade. Requires regular watering for optimal fruiting.

Pre-Order Now: Reserve your seeds of Jaboticaba Eldorado today, as quantities are limited. Experience the incredible sweetness and unique traits of this special new variety, and be among the first to grow this exclusive find from Eldorado, Misiones.

Shipping Note: These seeds are part of our upcoming international shipment and will be dispatched from our USA partner by December. Please allow for additional time as this ensures fresh, viable seeds.

https://www.huertasurbanas.com/product/new-cabeludona-myrciaria-glazioviana-very-rare-and-tasty-pre-sale/

Offering a limited pre-sale of the rare Cabeludona form of Myrciaria glazioviana, known for producing larger, velvety yellow fruits with rich, sweet pulp. This is not the common small “cabeludinha” type — the Cabeludona is a superior, large-fruit variant sought after by collectors.

🍋About the fruit
The fruits are golden-yellow, slightly fuzzy, and notably bigger than standard glazioviana types. Flavor is sweet, aromatic, and excellent for eating fresh or using in juices and jams. Most fruits contain one or two seeds.

🍋About the tree
This is a compact, highly ornamental species with dense foliage and heavy branching. It typically grows as a small tree or large shrub and is well suited for warm climates or protected areas in cooler regions. It fruits reliably from seed and can begin producing in just a few years under good care.

🍋Cultivation
Glazioviana prefers well-drained but consistently moist soil, rich in organic matter. Full sun to partial shade both work well. It is not highly frost-tolerant, so young plants should be protected from cold snaps. Fresh seeds germinate best—keep them warm, humid, and avoid letting the substrate dry out.

🍋Pre-Sale Details
• Price: USD 5 per seed
• Variety: Cabeludona (large-fruit type)
• Availability: Very limited stock
• Shipping: Worldwide options available depending on destination; PM for details
• Notes:  germination guarantee!

This is an uncommon chance to secure seeds of the true large-fruit Cabeludona. PM if you want to reserve your seeds before the batch sells out.

Eugenia involucrata “Elongated Black Cherry of the Rio Grande” – unique elongated fruits, glossy black when ripe, excellent flavor balance between sweet and tart.

Important Pre-Sale Notice:
This is part of our next international shipment to the USA, currently being prepared.
We expect the package to arrive in the USA by mid to late November, with customer deliveries handled promptly after arrival (late November to early December).

If you’re planning to order, we recommend combining pre-sale items with current USA dry stock (Psidiums, annonas, Ubajay and others)  to save on shipping and ensure freshness — the current USA stock is ready to ship  immediately. About current USA stock of wet seeds of Eugenia, Plinia, and others, it is advisable to send it ASAP, so combining with pre-sale items is a challenge: we should do two shipments in that case. So please select just Pre-sale items+dry seeds. In any doubt, let me know!

All seeds are harvested fresh, cleaned carefully, and packed with the same attention that has earned our team excellent germination feedback over the years. Quantities are limited, and many of these forms — like the Capioví Jaboticaba and the Guaporetí — are being offered for the first time internationally.

Thank you for your continued support and passion for rare tropicals!

🍇Guamirím — Eugenia florida (Family: Myrtaceae)🍇
Price: US $2.30

Why you’ll love it: A compact tree or shrub, bearing small aromatic fruits with a sweet-tropical flavour. Ideal for growing in containers or a garden bed, and perfect for bringing an exotic twist right into your backyard.
Germination & cultivation tips:

Use fresh seeds, sow them in a well-drained, light-textured substrate, with surface sowing and consistent moisture until emergence.

Prefers warm to moderate climates, full sun to partial shade; protect from hard frosts.

Soil should be slightly acidic and free-draining; avoid waterlogging.

With good care, fruiting may start in a few years from seed.

🍍Orange Cherry of the Rio Grande — Eugenia aff. involucrata (Family: Myrtaceae)🍍
Price: US $2.90

Why you’ll love it: Rare and eye-catching, this variety features bright orange cherry-sized fruits with a tangy-sweet burst. A fantastic choice for urban orchards, patios or collector’s gardens.
Germination & cultivation tips:

Propagate from seed — expect germination in about 30-40 days under optimal conditions.

Suited to warm climates; mature trees may offer moderate cold tolerance (down to ~ –10 °C) but young plants need protection.

Provide full sun to partial shade, fertile well-draining soil, and organic fertiliser during growth.

Prune lightly to shape the plant and promote fruiting.

🍋**Palora Dragon Fruit — (species likely Hylocereus/Selenicereus, Family: Cactaceae)🍋
Price: US $0.30

Why you’ll love it: A visually spectacular cactus-vine producing yellow-skinned, white-fleshed dragon-fruits, sweet and juicy. Great for adding height, drama and exotic fruit production to your garden.
Germination & cultivation tips:

Sow seeds in substrate at 21-29 °C (70-85 °F), keep moist but not waterlogged; germination may take several weeks.

Provide a trellis or wall support, and give full sun with some midday protection in very hot spots.

Ensure light, free-draining substrate; always avoid root-soaking.

Many dragon-fruit varieties flower at night and may need pollination (natural or hand-pollinated) for best fruit set.
