Hi everyone,

I grafted it on Cherimoya rootstock and its from my brother's house.  Somehow top half is die back but bottom half is pushing new leave.
This is 2x its doing this.   
Anyone has any idea?

it's possible it's water because it rained a lot for past weeks and pot tray is not helping too.  I am going to removed tray and bring in cover patio.  hope it bounce back.

Hi guys,

I bought these Jaboticaba last fall and repotted them.   Some how 2 big trees turn red but small tree still green.   

Soil:  peat moss, sand, perlite, pumice
Water: pond water

it was crack when i harvested it.   I thought it support to be more pink too.  i m wondering why mine is not.
 it was in sunny area of backyard but senior tall building was built and block it.  Can it be the sun or soil?

Finally, I am able to harvest 1 this year.  It's ok for small tree, maybe next year will better next year or so.

I agree to everything Greenerpasteur said.  I love all of them atemoya, cherimoya and guanabana.   They bring back my childhood memories and remembering my grandparents & orchard.  I left my country over 30yrs.  I wasnt allow to go back after they passed away already.

I totally picture it in shower 2 yrs :).  I hope your project goes well and it's doing great this year.   
I got mine in spring from local group fundsraising.  It was a piece of stick 7ft tall, no leave and dying toothpick branches.  I forgot to take a picture of it.   About 3 weeks or month later, I decided it to cut down to 18 inches and used cuttings to graft .  I grafted 6 pieces on cherimoya, atemoya and only 1 success.  Here they are still pushing new growths and 4ft now.   I  leave 1 close to neighbors brick fence and other under my patio facing West.  Couple places that I read, it could handle low 40°.  My brother lives in Garden Grove and left his seedling under patio during last winter.

Hi,

I am in Socal 10B.  I have pandan plant in koi pond and it's doing great since spring.   I heard it can't handle low 40's temp.  Winter is coming and need to bring it in the house.  should i keep in water bucket or put it in potting soil?   any suggestion?

Thank you did your input.   I just broke the sterm, it has scent similar to mint  cough drop but not strong.  Hope I describe it right and it helps.
