Hi all, would any of my south Florida friends on the forum know where I could buy a gamthi curry leaf plant?

Not sure about that variety, but if you pass by one of the smaller older hotels most of them are owned by Indian families who have been very friendly with me about sharing plants. Drive around back and if you see a garden most likely they have a curry leaf tree.
If you source a good variety I'd be interested in trading.

I know this is an old thread, but I just ordered Gamthi curry from Seeds of India ( https://www.seedsofindia.com/ ).  Several people gave seeds of India positive reviews a couple of years ago on Dave's Garden.

They also seem to sell them at Logee's, I've ordered regular curry tree from them and the trees arrived in great shape.

I was able to find two seedling trees which are consistent with what I have seen as the Gamthi variety. The leaves are very broad and thick, it is rather slow growing. A one year old tree is 3 feet tall. Same fragrance as the regular form. It just happned to be what was available. I don't have any available for sale or trade yet. I sourced them from found seedlings at the Florida Gulf Coast University Food Forest. They may not even know what they have but it is special. They have a website and are probably looking for opportunities to get revenue. A year ago there were numerous seedlings coming up so if you can look up the cooordinator they might offer seeds.

Potted curry leaf plants are often available in Indian grocery stores. It's a very popular item.

Hello friend, Did you have any success with finding the plant/seeds in the past ?
As the post is older now, hoping to see some information, learning and resources for my hunt on similar items
- Regards
Roger Smith
