Honey crisp kumquat

Hello to all forum members, I'm in search of Honey crisp kumquat (preferably seeds) because of dealing with customs etc. I know this kumquat is seedless, but I have also seen that people do find seeds in fruit (not much but none the less). Any forum member here from China or someone who can help me regarding this topic? Thanks in advance. I live in EU btw

I don't speak any chines languages but is it possible that "honey" and "crispy" are both describing the kumquat so the word order doesn't matter? Maybe both are variant translations of the same name?

How do you know it is in China? That site used to claim they were located in Virginia or something. Has anyone bought and received what they payed for from that site? It seems suspect to me.

I read it is  tetraploid, and the skin is diploid. The size of the fruit is as large as an egg (60 grams).

Hey ChangYun Nursery, is it possible to send scions (cuttings) or a mature tree (or seeds if you find any) to Europe. I am looking for this kumquat variety for ages with zero success yet. Thanks

I tried ordering from this website, and the seller wont send to EU, I suspect he doesnt deal with customs declarations. But I saw some people ordered from this website somewhere on reddit and order came (I think order was from US).

It is a natural budding variety of crispy kumquat. It has no shortcomings except that it is difficult to manage.

I would love to try it. So many varieties available in the world but not here. I wonder why the citrus budwood place doesn't have it? Is it a relatively new  variety?

Maybe I'll be lucky enough to find one in a few years... but $200 for what appears to be an internationally shipped plant, no thanks.

The company is not in Virginia, best I could find. If they were I'd try to go for a visit.

I would buy but I am afraid it is pig slaughtering operation. There have been a few foreign sellers here. I would be willing to bet more than a few are selling low quality plants. I don't don't want to buy sight unseen.

For what it's worth, I did find an etsy seller who occasionally stocks these trees in the US of A. They are listed as "crispy sweet kumquat".

Unfortunately, they are currently out of stock, but I will update when they are available for the interested parties.
