Wanderlust nursery
« on: October 14, 2024, 04:03:45 PM »
Does this nursery belong to a forum member?
I wanted to buy some seeds but many times buying something unusual from online businesses outside of the forum, seeds aren’t fresh and don’t germinate well, and temperate resellers often don’t know how to store tropical seeds properly. If anyone bought seeds from them, please share your experiences.

I've never bought their seeds but have made 2 purchases of their live plants. They were nicely packaged and shipped only during appropriate temperatures. I've been eyeing their seeds for a while now. I always assume it's a gamble when I buy seeds.

Thanks guys. I was trying to choose between seeds and live plants of the same species but since we’re heading towards winter and they are in Washington i was thinking seeds would be safer. Good to know they ship properly.

I have bought plants, cuttings and seeds

Seems like a great company in all my experiences. That being said I haven’t germinated any of their seeds, I’m cold stratifying them and waiting for closer to spring for the others

They are local to me here in Seattle and I bought some very large plants from them when I first moved into this house (15g feijoa and 15g Luma apiculata, plus a few 5gal things), as well as a few smaller orders since then. I've been very happy with most things, though I was never able to germinate the caperberry seeds when I tried those, that could easily have been user error.

Had nothing but great experiences with them.
Continuing my journey to disprove those who say "You can't grow that in the desert" since 2013.

Howdy! Matt from Wanderlust Nursery here. I am a forum member, happy to answer any specific questions. About half of our seed comes from our own garden and half from suppliers.

No questions, but you might have some new customers soon! Me and my mom were gushing over your site earlier, you guys have so many things we've been after and at a price range we can afford! :D

I've been a long time friend of Matt, actually from before he officially started his nursery.  We're both in the Seattle area.  He has many very interesting plants and some of my largest and nicest plants in my collection originally came from him as small seedlings from years ago.  A very knowledgeable plant scholar that I've learned a lot from.

Will 🤞🏽 for all the seeds to sprout.

Wanderlust was the first place I got plants from when I really started this hobby, and they spoiled my expectations for some future plant trades.

Seeds are starting to sprout! I was the most interested in dracena draco, and they were the first ones to pop.
