Deep Citrus Pots
« on: October 15, 2024, 11:26:03 PM »
Hello everyone, I hope this is an ok place to post this.

Does anyone know of a place that I could get deep, round pots for starting seedlings? I have only been able to find square ones but I would like a couple of round ones for an upcoming project.

This is the link to the original website that I found the pots on but I don't think I can buy small quantities whahttps://gardencityplastics.com/3-7l-citrus-pot-165mm-p165c

Here is a photo

Thanks!

https://www.greenhousemegastore.com/products/deepot-tree-pots?variant=42701231030471

I have used these as well as Ray Leach Cone-tainers.  The Tree Pots hold much more soil than the conetainers and i really like how long i can leave them in the DEEPOT before i need to up-pot.  Also the roots develop more naturally.

Thank you for the suggestion. I may have to try them.

Shipping is not bad either.

Steuwe sells direct from their website, the total price (including shipping) is usually slightly better than GH Megastore even though shipping is a little more. They make a bunch of sizes, this looks similar to what you want:

This is the one I use for starting avocados:

Hi, the first one you linked looks exactly what I am after! Unfortunately, the shipping costs almost as much as the pots to my location (even for just a few pots) :(
I wish they had a distributor near me.

Both of you guys have recommended the deep cell pots, so I think I am going to go for those.

It's $100 on Amazon for a 24 pack:
