Hong Kong kumquat

I had four seeds recently germinate and can confirm that it's generally monoembryonic but of those four one was polyembryonic.

I'm going to germinate some seeds soon too so I will report back with my findings.

Very good.
I had a good deal more seeds, but the day they arrived in the mail we had a really hard freeze. Many of the seeds were already starting to germinate and didn't take that well.

Does anybody know if the variety commonly available in the states is a tetraploid?

I would also like to know. I'm not used to identifying Tetraploid kumquats, my plant looks pretty typical of a kumquat but smaller features of course.
