Hello, sadly last year none of my Mulberry grafts or Surinam cherry cuttings were grafted on. Wanted to try again this year so wanted to purchase some.

These are tricky to germinate and need a constant heat source that prevents the temperature from dropping below 70F

The big Cuban or central american Mameys are good in shakes or desserts, and the Yucatan cultivars tend to be smaller but sweeter, is what I have found. I personally prefer the green sapote over mamey they are far sweeter, and ripen much easier in addition they are far superior eating out of hand. Growing either one when grafted here in San Diego tends to be challenging, they just don't do so well and tend to die. But as seedlings they are thriving for me, I currently have 25 mamey seedlings that are around 3-5 years old and seem to be growing well. The Green Sapote seedling I have planted inground also seem to be thriving very well and loved these recent rains, I expect good growth this year.

Are your mangos seedlings or grafted?

Good stuff
Not at $50 per seed :o I’ve heard of inflation but damn!

It's actually a good price for the rarity of that seed also it's already germinated. The quality of his seeds is of excellent quality, I get all my seeds to germinate, and there as only be been a few that have been tricky.

Always has me coming back for more!! definitely my #1 seed provider

I sent you a DM before your trip if it would have been a possibility to collect seeds from some canopy layer and emergent layer trees if you so happen to find them on the ground or come across them,  which I would have paid top $ on. I grow to donate to Zoos and botanical gardens, I never got response from you.

Worst seller I ever had to deal with, paid this dude on Dec 15. He kept promising he will be sending them to me. Never sent anything just kept saying that he will send them to me and never did anything. I don't get people like this, you pay them and they just keep giving you false hope that your product will be shipped and worst yet they waste your time.

Is this permit through APHIS?

Moosa Creek Nursery has/had them, also native west nursery has/had them but you need a contractor, landscape architect/architect license, etc to buy through them. Or you can request Walter Anderson to get you some as they go up and purchase lots of plants from San Marcos growers, which you can also buy from SMG directly but they also have prerequisites that are required before anybody could purchase.

Here’s a link to Austin’s auction
It’s a good fruit but has some fibers my family agreed that it smells better than it tastes. I think it tastes great though.

I appreciate that, I'll ask him but $20 for one seed is a little too much especially when I want to buy at least 10-15. I may just pay a visit to the fruit and spice park next year. Was also planning on visiting next year Veracruz when the fruit is in season.
