Any exotic unusual tropical fruits for Zone 9a Florida?

Jaboticaba. It deals with the cold pretty well without protection here in central FL. It's a delicious fruit and can be grown in a pot in case you need to take it indoors. I keep several varieties that are more precocious than the Sabra/Black variety. The red fruits in 4-5 years from seeds and the scarlet which will fruit in 3 years from seed.

Also loquats, they will handle the cold.
