Older cacao leaves brown out like that here, and we have almost constant rain and super high humidity.adam-is it normal for the leave tips to brown out like that?
That's what happens when your tree gets too hot and too dry...its normal for me in central FL, but people in a better region for growing cacao won't have it as much.

There is a tremendous variation, in my experience. Some will fruit by itself, and some will not. That's why I recommend at least two plants for cross pollination. I gave one plant to two different friends. Both of them reported that they got tons of flowers and zero fruits!
-only need one plant (but having more helps I'm sure)
