Permanent pen to write on dragon fruit branch

Can you recommend a Pen to write on dragon fruit branch that will write bold and not fade?

Yes sooner or later it's going to fade away so used metal tags that you can grave the name on

Sharpie lasts ok, but not that well, you're right about 5 months.

I use this type of oil based paint market from Uni-Paint while working on cars and damn it's durable, even against oil and corrosive liquids and will give it a shot this year. Probably excellent on black pots.

Paint pens work on pots but not that well on the plants.  I use paint markers a lot here for marking pots and flagging tape with plant names.
