This seedling was given to me as 'bacuri', but I have my doubts.<br /><br />

Nostradamus may need to weigh in on this one but it could be G. brasiliensis or a close relative

It will go fine there and there is no certainty that the ID is correct. There are 2 other similar species in SE Brasil and all are variable with leaf size and colour and in fact new growth colour also.
