Picked up a few trees today from Charley in Hacienda Heights.  3 guavas, another longan, and my first atemoya!  The atemoya is an African Pride.  Too bad the other varieties were not available.

Taiwan seedless
The leaves are round and the fruit is completely seedless (from what I was told).

Taiwan "7 inch" guava
Anyone heard of this?

I have another Taiwan "Pearl" that I forgot to photograph.

Hokola  longan

My first Atemoya - African Pride

For those that grew these types of guavas, please let me know what your thoughts are as far as the flavor and texture goes.

Hi again, ;D

Awesome selection of fruit trees...they look very healthy and great 8)

Not familiar with the Taiwan ''7 inch'' guava.

BTW are they for pot culture?

Thanks for sharing...Good luck with the new additions, fellow member :)

Thanks. I am not sure if those guavas are suitable for pot culture.  I will be planting them in the ground in early spring.

Hokola longan? I think you must mean Kohala longan?

It's the longan in this link below.  Anyone know the difference beetwee the two or is it the same tree?

Just came back from Ong's and picked up a few trees.  3 atemoya Lisa, 1 atemoya Geffer, a Indonesian seedless guava and a Indian jujube.
There were a few other trees I wanted but cargo space was limited.

Indonesian seedless guava

Atemoya Lisa

Another Lisa for a friend

I gave the other trees to my parents and didn't get a chance to snap some photos first.

Those plants look very healthy. I've heard of Ong's but not Charley. Are Charley's prices reasonable?
Thanks,

xshen, are you sure you're not talking about Charly from Rowland Heights? I got my 7-in guava from him and it looks about the same as yours except that mine hase 2 main branches ($34.99 on eBay).

Yes.  Thanks for correcting me.  It's Charly from Rowland Heights.

Charly's prices are very reasonable.  I got an African pride atemoya from him for $30 (instead of $35 since I bought a few things from him).  Ong's have similar size African prides for $75.

Hi Xshen,
Does Charly has a nursery in Rowland Heights? May I have his address or contact information? I want to buy some of his trees. Your help is appreciated.
