Just a few and that is about 1/3 of it's total production.  I get the same volume of one "cutie" mandarin.  My lemon tree of the same size produced 74 lemons in 1 year for a total weight of 60 pounds.

9 year old Fukushu left out of green house for failure to fruit.  9 feet tall 5 foot diameter heavily branched.

Very nice pictures

I have lost track of each of 4 Mreiwa trees.  The first fruits pick came in 1.5 years with 2 fruits.  The next year one of the trees produced 30 fruit at 3 years while another produced 2 fruit at 3 years.  This tree is 5.5 years old.  They are very hard to grow and suffer many setbacks.

kumquat seedlings need more and brighter light to grow and because the grow so slowly they are much more prone to damp off

valentine drops most all flowers for in ground trees and for potted tree they often keep flowering till they die.  It will drop golf ball size fruit to get energy to continuing its flowering.  I have to pick very small buds if I want the tree to hold fruit

Most trees get stripped of there fruit before they are ripe so the seeds have to be ready before the fruit is ripe

I accelerated mine by growing in heated well light enclosure to get 3 years growth in 1 year.

In another 8 months I picked the tree's first 2 kumquats.

A second NZL on sour orange has emerged

By that time you will spend more money on your tree than to buy the fruit at the market.  There are other fruit trees to grow.  Grow it indoors.

I am going to guess tha Prague ripens later than first frost.  Changsha satsuma on Flying dragon might have a chance.  I will need a cover below 10F

23
My Fukushu on Flying dragon grows faster than my Fukushu seedling.

It is much easier to get an early spring start than to keep them growing in the fall.  It still may be very difficult to get the spring jump for fall ripening before frost.  Have you considered much earlier cold hardy satsuma varieties.  I am stuck with the same need for an early start for my citrus trees in Cincinnati.  I have not been successful for any of my citrus trees for early pre-frost fruiting.  My best guess would be to provide heat and extra light in mid winter to induce flowering and growth.  Even under 4 layers of glass heating would be very costly for me.  Lighting is cheep with these new LED lights.

Kumquat seedlings need lots of light 16 hours per day and lots of feed.  5-1-3 or 3-1-2 ratio is fine is ok
