WTB: Fortunella Hindsii (aka Hong kong kumquat / kinzu / Golden bean kumquat)

I finally sampled some kinzu, they have a pungent taste that kinda reminds me of the time I tried Sichuan peppercorn.

Popped the seed out and ate the peel, definitely didn't want to risk eating the seeds  :o

They really are mostly skin and seed but skin came off easier than I anticipated as well. There is a tiny amount of flesh!

I could see some chef using it as a cupcake topper or something  ;D

I want to say mine took from mid July when it first pushed flowers till now to ripen. Not crazy long. 3-6 months I would say as some was mature before they turn orange as well.
