I found three N1Tri Voss seedlings with "trifoliate only" leaves from 36 seedlings. No one from these looks like pure poncirus, they have longer leaves like some F1 poncirus hybrid.

If one parents of N1 Tri Voss was Poncirus, I would expect more seedlings with trifoliate leaves in F2 generation and maybe some with leaves like pure poncirus... it looks like pollen parent of N1Tri Voss may be citrumelo or other poncirus F1 hybrid...

But if you cut them near the ground, there is a chance that new emerging  growths  will flower on the tops next spring.
I may try cut it next spring and cutted stem graft to some strong rootstock, I am not sure where to cut it, below first pair of leaves or above?

Just above the first pair of true leaves.

I`ll try that too. I have some precocious ichangensis seedlings too. Might be also worth a try.

5 month old seedling N1 Tri Voss has first flower  :). I had got N1 Tri Voss fruits from Petr Broza, he is growing N1 Tri Voss in big greenhouse with many other citrus varieties, so this seedling may be also hybrid from open pollination...

This seedling has a second flower right now...is it also common? I thought that these one year old seedlings have only one flower...Now I have a dilemma, cut it or not in the next spring :)

The first flower was a little more developed than the second, so no positive progress unfortunately...

The flowers on my N1tri seedlings were at the tips of the shoots and were normally formed. But I never had a second flower on such a plant.

In 2017 one of the N1tri seedlings made a tiny fruit

Here's my seedling grown from N1tri

sorry for the low quality of the picture

I noticed some of the leaves do not have winged petioles.
This could be a second generation offspring, so there is the possibility of some improvement.

I recently planted it in the ground, outside up against the wall.

I decided to simply label it "Ichang papeda x trifoliate hybrid", since there wasn't enough space on the tag for something more detailed. at least this way someone else might have a better idea what this is if they find it.

I got N1triVoss four or five years ago as budwood, grafted a bud onto a very tiny Poncirus seedling and have now a still small but well growing bush. Leaves were always monofoliate. But this year, some trifoliate leaves appeared. Here some pictures.
First nomal monofoliate leaves:

At the end of the twig trifoliate leaves:

Very cool variety. Would love to be able to find a source of this located within the US.

I am looking for fruits or seeds of N1triVoss. I could send fruits or seeds Ichang papeda klon Klock or Hana yuzu (Eisenhut).

This grapefruit-like early flowering on the top of stem growth occurs often in N1tri seedlings.
It is one of the reasons why I believe  that this variety is a a hybrid of ichangensis  with some sort of citrumelo.
These flowers are giving very rarely fruits because the whole plant at this  stage  is rather weak.
But if you cut them near the ground, there is a chance that new emerging  growths  will flower on the tops next spring.

I've cut the early flowering seedling as Ilya suggested and he was right  :) cut seedling had two new branches with two flowers on the top, unfortunately, both flowers kind of dried off before were open.

I grafted cuttings to poncirus rootstock and there is no sign of flowers but it grows vigorously.

The original precocious seedling N1Tri Voss F2 has a third flower on a new branch growing under the first pair of leaves, the flower is again incomplete... :(

Grafted plant on poncirus is 70 cm heigh and has two flowers too :)

Interesting that all flowers are on the top. Even the grafted ones.
