Light Effects On Grafting Success?

What effect does light play in grafting?
Because it's been so hot... I've been placing all my grafting subjects in a mostly shady area.
Would grafts benefit from additional light?
I have LED grow lights set up in my garage.
Would special grafted pet plants benefit from LED illumination?
Thanks for the input!

If your LED light are either Full Spectrum or Daylight, they can work very well, if you have enough of them.

Not necessary. Shade for 3 or 4 weeks to let the grafts heal is good then gradually move into more light.

There is a camp that says sunlight does help with graft healing and success chance, and I personally go by this philosophy.
