Where to buy Fruit in South California
« on: August 15, 2020, 12:37:29 AM »
Hello everyone, it's my first time going back to USA since I'm addicted to buy exotic Fruits, seeds, plants...
So I'm in Guadalajara, Mexico and will be in Tijuana and then to San Diego and probably in L.A. this is a short trip for few days so with less time being there I'd love to have some recommendations on where to go and get cool stuff to try and probably bring it to Mexico to grow here too. Thanks a lot in advance for the help!!

Not really, it's more to eat the Fruits there and probably bring some seeds! 😁

Specialtyproduce is a resturant supplier in downtown that sells to the public.

They often carry excellent fruit at the farmers market portion.

Great, I'll check that. I see you are also in SD, would be possible to come and have a look to your orchid?

Use google to try to find some farmers markets. They usually take place on the weekend and there are many of them across Southern California. The San Gabriel Valley (10-20 mins east of LA) has plenty smoothie shops that also sell tropical fruits. Unfortunately many of them are dealing with fruit shortages due to covid. That was a few months ago, things might have gotten better since then. Look up "Trai Cay" in the San Gabriel Valley on google or yelp and make sure you call ahead before you go.
