I am picking my last Mahachanok today.
Its season has lasted 7+ weeks.
Are you happy with Maha?
Yes!
It's an excellent tasting mango and very productive too. I never have had any disease problems with it at all.

I agree. Not in the top tier in terms of taste, but tastes good and is very productive. No disease issues at all for me too.

I am picking my last Mahachanok today.
Its season has lasted 7+ weeks.

With multiple Carrie grafts, I usually have a few late bloomers developing in August. I had less Carrie mangos this year than last but the mangos were spread out from about May 19 to August 19 approximately 12 weeks.

Brev Grower how old is your Graham tree ?
How is the yearly production?
My graham is maybe 6 years in ground. A very healthy tree with no disease issues. Shape is very much like Carrie, wide, dense, and not very tall. I would say production is modest. Graham sets a ton of fruit for me but then drops most before maturity. This is a known trait with graham. I got about 30 -40 fruit from a tree I may expect 100 from. I have tried to get used to the flavor but i find it strong and medicine like at times. I plan to top work it to honey kiss this year.

We received a bag of very green and hard Keitts from a friend in Coconut Creek yesterday.  They look like they could have stayed on the tree another month.  Keitt really is a late variety!

Picked up quite a few Brooks over a week ago, on Merritt Island.  Tasted a couple ripe ones last night, and they were delightfully pleasant, with a good balance of tart and sweetness.  Nice to see some of the older Florida varieties, still in production.  :)

You come to appreciate these really Late varieties when all your trees are bare.
Don’t rush, take time and enjoy life and food.

This past Monday I ate my sole Baptiste mango. The tree flowered a couple times prior, but none of those resulting fruitlets hung in there. Not the sweetest mango, but not bland. I liked its unique flavor.

They are some of the worst mangoes I have ever eaten.  Yes, they definitely should have stayed on the tree another month!
