Any thoughts about adding micronutrients into the latex paint before whitewash tree limbs and trunks? Will the plants able to absorb them? Anyone done it before? Thanks

Great question I would guess maybe some but really don't know!

I don't think micronutrients would work. I do have added insect repellant, fungicide and insecticide according to the problem at hand. On the other hand, there are specific adjuvants like Pentrabark made to penetrate the bark and move the fungicides into the xylem. I have used it with phosphorous acid Reliant, Agriphos etc.
there is a possibility but why do it if the roots do a much better job with micros.

Just had a mix of azomite, milk and hydrated lime sprayed on a few injured tree trunks . Avocado, Loquat and plum. We’ll see how it lasts and benefits.
