To a great extent this group is about zone pushing. Amazing what you are able to grow and fruit in a greenhouse in Russia. Keep it up!  :D Maybe i missed it, but what part of Russia are you in?

What kind of heating system do you use? And do you have a back up system in case of power failure in first system?

To date, the greenhouse is not fully equipped with a heating system, so every autumn I have to transfer plants to the house. As heaters, I use household infrared panels, but they do not give the desired result, and therefore are only involved in the early spring and autumn.

Hi Patrick. This is in my plant collection: Akebia quinata, Bromelia pinguin, Eugenia different varieties, Garcinia different varieties, Grewia occidentalis, Malvaviscus arborescens, Buddha Fruit, Myrciaria different varieties, Sacha Peanut, Guava different varieties, Cuatomate, Mombin, Ackee, Artocarpus different varieties, Carambola, Canistel, Dragonfruit 12 varieties and much more, I can't remember everything at once. I grow all this from seeds,it is very difficult for me to persuade someone to send cuttings for grafting.

One of the few fruit trees in my garden is Juglans mandshurica. Very frost-resistant, the tree is 9 years old, this is the first fruiting.

I would like to see this view in the middle of cold winter, please.

The temperature in the cold season is maintained within + 15°C, but there are force majeure and the temperature drops to +5°C for a short time.

Melon has an amazing aroma that spreads throughout the greenhouse during fruit ripening, but the taste is not as sweet as I would like, so I use the fruits to make a pie.

The greenhouse is constantly being treated from pests. We have a lot of whitefly, spider mite, shield, and if preventive treatments are not carried out, they destroy plants.

This year, Cuatomate (solanum glaucescens) bloomed profusely again and there are no fruits again. I'm going to put it in a pot and put it in the house for the winter. I have two plants growing, does anyone know if he needs cross-pollination or is one plant enough?

What do you use to treat spider mites? Thank you.

I use the "Aktellik" insecticide for my plants, other people use different drugs, such as "Fitoverm" or "30+". Everyone has their own preferences.
