Choc Anon is reputed to have multiple crops.  I have one and it has never had multiple seasons.  It did have an unusually long season last 3 with 3 successful flowering.  No such luck this year, the season, which was mediocre, is winding down.  Done in perhaps a week or two.

As I’ve mentioned before, both Pickering and Angie have a long season for me. Late May until now. Still a few left on trees.

Mangifera odorata I read from wikipedia flowers all year round.  Perhaps this is only suited for the equatorial tropics.

I wonder what that means.. like actually flowering all year regardless of weather, or that any short dry spell can induce flowering.

In my opinion for those in climates with heavy rains, pick only the mango which will accurately flower as close to start of dry season as possible.  So to avoid aborted or washed off flowers, and fruit flies entering flowers. Clean fruits without anthrocnose washed on or sap.

I am interested in information about the "All Summer" mango. Why is it called "All Summer"? Does it have a long season? Is it poly or mono? Big tree or small? Is is tasty?  Mine is still green.

I bought a few mangos that probably came from Zills grove. They were labelled "All Summer", "Kathy", "K-3", "Orange Essence" & "Venus".

Ghazal and Garaat Mango are supposed to be "everbearing" mango trees.

Quote
Ghazaal is a dwarf tree that gets 6 to 8 meters high and 6 meters wide. Produces fruits 3 times a year. The fruits are uniform weighing about 1500 to 300 grams each. The taste is good. Excellent plant for a small space.

Quote
Garaat is a local variety that produces flowers and fruits 3 to 4 times a year. If not pruned, the tree gets up to 20 meters high and 15 meters wide. The fruits taste is ordinary but tastes better in winter than in summer.  Fruits weigh from 200 - 400 grams. The trees bear fruits at a very young age and you can find blooms and fruits of various sizes almost 10 months a year.

Found the info on Marly's mango at Top Tropicals website. https://toptropicals.com/cgi-bin/store/store.cgi?group=mango

Marleys (also spelled in different sources as Marlys, or Maryls) is a new release from Zill. It resembles Bailey's Marvel, but with a little more flavor and better productivity. Also called All Summer because of a long all-summer production period.

This is the mango Marly talks about in the video from Truly Tropical that she said had a long very long season.
