Thx.

I’ve seen inferior ones in FL but who sells superior ones?

Pine island should have a good selection. I’m up in Tampa and there are markets in St Petersburg where you can find some nice ones too. I’m not too sure where to get them on the east coast but I’m sure there are great spots over there too.

Thanks KMW. It’s a hike but if there’s a few other things around, I might do it.

So Wholefoods has California grown Keitts. Super green picked but in October, who can be picky?

As a full time year long around the clock member of Troops Against Varmits (TAV), I am atypical and do not take tactical war advice from politicians.

Secured Friendly Fruits picked safely today & in safe house (aka refrig.) awaiting transport to final destination.... Yummy Tummy...

Wow. Very nice you have so many mangos left in the fridge.  I went to check the Keitt tree yesterday after 3 weeks, and there was not a single one left hanging.  I suspect the gardening service for the community got to them before I did. They've been known to steal mangos that they imagine will go to waste otherwise.

Florida's semitropical climate means a year-round growing season and plenty of tropical fruits. Mangoes, guavas, and passion fruit grow in the state. Many common fruits and vegetables grown in the northern states have lean seasons, and harvests continue through winter and early spring. Winter strawberries come from Florida, as do wintergreen beans and eggplants [spam link]. Floridians need to adjust their "seasonal cooking" accordingly. Florida is flooding farmers' markets. However, not all markets are equal in terms of local produce
