Store bought one tasted like a  January Sumo, too tart.
Thick grind, hard to peel
It was seedless.

Home one tasted sweet, with a little tart.
It had 4 seeds.
Easy to peel.

Late March to April is good for Sumo in my yard.

Your sumo looks nice, doesn't have as much rough looking skin as the store purchased one.

Funny how some of my sumos were already done by Feb, but I still have the larger fruits on one tree that is still not fully ripe. It looks like those fruits will ripen on my tree by end of March or April time frame. I need to dig up my nice tree since my son wants me to get rid of all my fruit trees in his yard for new landscaping.

sc4001992,

It will be nice to have your nice tree saved.
