Yep...I mean you can't keep up with all these new introductions now! It's really now up to the true collectors to buy it. If you're growing for fruit, yes it'll probably taste good, but in terms of wait time and other factors, it's not worth it ;) ;D :D Only true plinia simps 8)
plinia simp gang lets gooooo

Ha ha ha. I have you to thank for understanding what a simp is.

In any case, you'll see when the time comes when you pop out your own shorty (did i just date myself with that slang?  Do they use it still?) and it becomes harder to keep up with all the new varieties/species that pop up!

Well we know it’s native to Bahia state in Brazil and Acu is large which I assume is the size of the fruit. That’s more info than many of these new introductions.

Thanks for providing more insight to this. I probably have some pictures of the fruits on my phone somewhere I'll see if I can find it.

Also anyone who is interested in buying these plants, feel free to make an offer on them if you feel the price isn't right.
Happy holidays!

It’s probably just me but lately I’ve seen many new species and varieties of eugenias popping up all over the web ever since the pandemic. I’m pretty sure that some of those fruits have unique taste, but for now give me your regular old surinam cherry or grumichama; I’ll let the experienced eugenia collectors grow them out and let us know how they taste through the Youtube videos!
Teach a man to fish, and he will be able to catch fish for life.

Teach a man to nurture plants, and he will be able to eat durian, soursop, mangosteen, papaya, rambutan, and guava fruits for life!

Lol. Perhaps a few of them will gain some notoriety like the durian—A fruit that can elicit strong opinions from either end of the emotional spectrum.
