These trees are extremely healthy and established. Don’t fall for potted bareroot trees that have proven high rate of failure. Dead giveaway is a leafless tree. All of the trees that I’m offering are actively growing roots AND leaves.

I had a biqi listed on eBay but just cancelled and relisted because I found out there was a mix up and what I have is actually a LATE BIQI which has never been offered before.

LATE BIQI variety info:
This is a late-maturing variety selected from biqi from the Yangmei Research Institute of Yuyao City and the Horticulture Institute of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences. It was named by Mr. Wu Gengmin, a famous expert at Zhejiang Agricultural University. The trees are strong, the branches and leaves are lush, the crown is round-headed, the leaves are large, 9.3 cm long, 2.7 cm wide, and the leaves are thick green. The fruit surface is purple-black, rich in luster, shiny and beautiful. Strong sweetness, good taste, dense flesh, good storage and transportation. The average weight of single fruit is 13 grams, soluble solids is 13.9%, and 95.6% flesh. It is excellent quality for fresh eating and processing. It has great yield with consistent quality. Ripens at the end of June and the beginning of July, which can extend the harvest season with biqi. It has strong drought tolerance and can be planted in the mountains at higher altitudes to take full advantage of its late maturing. It is one of the best varieties for fresh eating and processing. It is resistant to high temperatures and droughts . The yield of 6-year-old trees can reach 36 kg, and the yield is high and stable.

Variety info (translated):
Soft shredded bayberry
Prince Anhai has soft flesh. It is native to Longhai, in Fujian Province. The leaves are large, the old leaves grow more than the new leaves, the edges are obviously toothed, the fruit is round and spherical, and the fruit is correct. The average weight of the single fruit is 15 grams. The surface of the fruit is purple-red to purple-black. The flesh is dull and long. There is a longitudinal or not obvious gully on both sides. The stem has a turquoise tumor-like protuberance. The texture is soft, sweet, and very juicy with some acidity. The seed is small, with very high flesh to seed ratio.
Fruit is of excellent quality, top tier. Harvest is from mid-May to late May.

Just wanted to show you the latest example of the problems we experience when ordering/shipping plants.

There are an infinite number of methods to package and ship plants. But it all boils down to being able to make it through all the abuse and delays that is bound to happen from time to time.

This package just came back to me after sending it out 20 days ago with USPS. As you can see it looks like the package was ran over multiple times and there has been some pretty extensive heat waves across the country.

The critical things you need to consider for successful shipping is:
-securing plant from movement, no matter the orientation of box
-soil completely contained even if upside down the entire trip
-maintain moisture in root ball
