Okay.  TAF has Sindhu trees.  Does TT (Truly Tropical)?  (Two of our local growers)

Ratna is alphanso x Neelam cross.
And sindhu is alphansox ratna cross.
These varieties are develped by Regional fruit research centre, Vengurle, Maharashtra in India.

Since these are Indian varieties of mango, there's probably much more information about them in India than here in the States.  The majority of our members are Floridians and Californians, who have probably never tasted them.

Today first time I tasted Ratna mango. Its taste and aroma is similar to Alphanso ( one of its parent). Its taste is 85% as good as alphanso taste. Alphanso taste is sweet and somewhat acidic thats why I like it more.
