Yes you are correct it's in my top five not many people have it because it's not propagated in the nurseries because of its very anthracnose proclivity. A couple years ago I look for it East Coast and West Coast Florida absolutely no one had it. Except for truly tropical Chris in Delray Beach she grafts varieties that are no longer in circulation. I was able to obtain a 7 gallon that was about to be repotted to a 15 gallon. It bloomed and fruited very well this spring but about 30% of the fruitlets had anthracnose. I had not really ever treated it with a fungicide since its trip from South Florida. I started this spring in early March with first a Curative dose Then followed by maintenance doses of Plant Doctor organocide which is a systemic fungicide. I was a little disappointed with the results at first but it seemed to have a cumulative effect and has cleaned up quite nicely now. It is still dark here at 4 a.m. or I would take a photo for you but I will be quite busy today cuz I'm going back to South Florida maybe this evening

To me when eaten slightly underripe Dot has a great citrus taste to it. Definitely more so than Lemon Zest.

strongest orange flavored mango is peach cobbler, that name should be changed. let it ripe to medium firm and taste it, if it is soft its gone too far.

Yes!  Its a super tangerine flavor.  I like its original nickname, "Oh Too" which is a spin off its 0-2 number.
Do you agree with the ripening procedure? If so this is useful to me. I have had 3 and probably let them go over ripe. Tasted yuck
I have 5 Peach cobbler trees and they are 3 years old. This year I got to test them out pretty well and agree picked  full and ripened just till barely soft I got it this morning, a nice citrusy tang. I agree!
