Hi all, I've been trying to find a couple of these trees for two years. I can't believe I missed out on the group buy again.

Does anyone know where I can get a couple without waiting another year? I have been stratifying some seeds for a few months but forgot to add water. Ugh!

Wondering if I can recruit some help from those who ordered on the last group order from China that Bill spearheaded. I bought 20 yangmei and left the tags on them with the intent of labeling them with more permanent labels once/if they showed signs of life. Now that I am ready to label some I see that some of the labels don't make sense. I know I didnt receive all the varieties I ordered and received some varieties I did not order. Any idea what the following tags may stand for:

CR (Crystal?)
CRM (Crystal Male?)
BQM (Biqi Male?)
SW ?

No, this one is in the beginning of 2022.  There were 2 orders made in the beginning of 2022.

I only ordered DongKui for this year order

Nice! All of mine from that order bit the dust unfortunately. 10 plants i think. Maybe in some years when it's more common I'll jump back on the bandwagon ahah.

Folks,
I have some scions of varieties:
Dongkui(#1), Crystal (#18), Deep Red (#20), and Pink Bayberry(#19) all of them were cut from well established Yangmei trees 2 or 3 days ago and in about 5 inches long. The price is $15 each.

Also some small amount of Biqi (#4).

False hope, all dead.  Guess I'd have to try it again next year.  Overhead cover is not good enough.

Mine finally start to bud it seems, all six of them.  Will post pictures in a few days if I see anything green. For those who are still waiting, don't give up just yet.  FYI, I never put the pots indoors.  It's been outside with plastic overhead cover since day one, going through all the storms we had in the bay area.
