Best to get a plant or cutting, they root pretty easy.

I'll send you a couple of cuttings if you pay the shipping.  But you should ask around your area, a lot of people grow this tree.  Home depot and Lowes even sell some large trees.

I just saw a 3Gal at Walmart for $39 I’m going to pick it up , want to make vitamin C from its fruit .

Is there a certain size or time of year to take the cuttings?  I’ve tried many times to root cuttings from mine but none have ever taken. A humidity chamber helps the, stay green for a while longer but they just never send out roots.

I have a tree with very large berries, and the taste is not as sour as others describe. I didn't buy it as a named variety but by description it sounds like Florida sweet. If you want cuttings, I can trade with you. Maybe can find some seedlings under the tree if I have to look between all the ground cover tradescantias  :o
