Bizarre leaf coloring. It almost looks like soap residue that won’t come off??

Just looks like water or spray spots to me.  No real harm to the tree.

Do you have well water? Looks like calcium deposits to me. Try wetting a cloth and wipe the deposits off just to clarify that's what it is.  Could be spray residue from whatever you may have sprayed on plant. Leaves look healthy.

 It came from the nursery months ago with that residue on it. It wont come off. The water at my home is filtered and doesn't leave residues. It not dropping leaves or anything and they do seem healthy aside from that.

It must have been sprayed at the nursery. It certainly looks like spray residue.

I've gotten trees like that before from nurseries. I called and asked, and they said it was insecticide residue.  It did not ever seem to effect them whatsoever.

WTF is in those pesticides that it leaves residue on the tree through rain and foliar feedings? The trees come up here already treated neonics unfortunately so I didn't think it would be sprayed.
