Owari will likely just barely be ripening in that timeframe. I’m in 9a by the coast and the first week of December is the earliest we usually start eating them. You can eat them earlier, but they might not have a lot of sugar.

Lee x Nova and Dekopon won’t likely be ripe in that window, especially in your zone, but are great mid-season mandarins.

I’d also recommend Gold Nugget. They’re very late, and hang well, making them very early as well, and taste amazing.

If you’re willing to push your ripening window forward a little, Page is one of the richest tasting mandarins. It doesn’t peel as easily as Satsumas, but more than makes up for it in flavor. It ripens shortly after Owari.

Thank you. I have plans to pretty much build a greenhouse around them for winter so as long as we don't have power issues they should all make it
