Mangoes are way overrated! I prefer tomatoes..

On my first trip to Cairns in North Queensland I arrived in mango season, found a grove of old beachside mango trees, and ate too many on the first day. Hardly touched another mango for many years. Still don't really like those old cultivars, especially warm off the tree. Newer cultivars are ok nowadays, cold in the fridge.

Best compromise would be mango and pepperoni pizza.

Anchovy pizza rules. Buy a good quality frozen pizza and a can of anchovies. Cook/bake the pizza and add anchovies near the end. I ramp it up with some umami diced onions or garlic or diced green peppers. If you don't mod your pizzas you are a chump. Another mod is, sprinkle a bit of cayenne powder on the pizza as it bakes.

Yes, we always jazz up our frozen pizza.  It's the only way to go, especially the gluten-free pizza with the cauliflower crust.

Whoa whoa whoa!  Hold on a minute!  You are telling me that Florida squirrels eat mangoes, but not tomatoes?
In Idaho, I have not lost a single mango to squirrels, but they love to dig up my tomato plants to bury their stupid peanuts!

Oh wait... maybe its because my mangoes are in the greenhouse with the door shut...

I believe the mango flavored tomatoes are called ground cherries.

I always thpught they tasted more like pineapple, but yeah, I'll close my eyes and call them mangoes!
