Title: New to Artocarpus
Post by: farmerfred on March 10, 2020, 02:43:20 AM
Hi all,
I figured this would be the place to get a question answered about a few Artocarpus species.  I have a really good grafted Jackfruit and a good Marang seedling, and a really prolific Cempedak.  I was wondering if anyone has ever tried top working these- as in adding a Cempedak or Marang branch onto a Jackfruit tree?  I know it sounds strange but years ago I had a "Frankenfruit" tree that had lemons, limes, and tangello on one tree.  I was thinking about trying to do the same with some Artocarpus.  Thoughts?
Thanks in Advance,
Fred

Jack and chempa are compatible but neither are compatible with marang or any other Artocarpus.
