I had a few small trees. They died, because of neglect. Low light, high humidity preferred from what I could tell.

The best time to plant a fruit tree was 20 years ago. The next best time to plant one is now.

A while back there was a guy in Ghana who was convinced Borojo was the key to solving hunger and malnutrition in his area. He planted hundreds, and posted updates for a few years. People eventually said it tastes pretty terrible, and his info about it having 3x the protein of beef was wrong.

It fruits off and on throughout the year.  The attraction is that itís a stimulant but beyond caffeine or guarana it provides the energy source as well as the stimulation.
Many people mix milk and sugar with coffee or cacao too.
