I let my mine ripen to the point where the anthracnose nearly took over the whole mango. The mangoes were nearly totally black. At that point, the flavor was still pretty mild.

I grabbed a few pickerings from fruitscapes in Pine Island. So far they've been delectable. Highly recommend.

I also ordered some Pickering from someone in South Florida two weeks ago and they were super bland with no flavor or sugar content. They were soft, so not unripe.... very disappointing.
