Nutrients Lacking in Russell's Sweet Garcinia

Im thinking it might be zinc. Got the same problem with my Garcinia sp. lindero. Other garcinia like Lucs, achachauiru, dulcis etc dont have this problem.

Plant medium looks strange to me. Garcinias can be finicky about soil and root conditions. May want to repot. Russells can get a pretty deep tap root, tall skinny pots work well with my small plants.

They are a big leafed asian type usually vigorous and faster growing than new world species. They seem to thrive in shitty soils so if not overwatered and soil acidity is ok low temps or not enough sun might be contributing to a lack of vigour. I have eaten lots of the fruit and they are certainly a glamorous species. Fruit are bigger, more spherical and sweeter than dulcis and the sexes are separate. Dulcis and xanthochymus are compatible for grafting
